This workshop was taught by Sir Kevin on December 10, 2005 Camping Preperation The Camping preparation workshop is held to help prepare individuals for the ASK http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/albertasocietyforkink/ camp out. This workshop went over safety, things to bring for any kinky camping or just play in the out of doors. Safety was tied in with this workshop as well, and a checklist of things to bring (or not forget!) was included. This workshop was taught by Mike on December 9th, 2006. Dominant Care Dominant Care - an encore workshop last presented at the "Views from the Bottom" group in Edmonton. This workshop was originally designed for bottoms, submissives, and slaves, however the workshop will also be valuable for dominants and others as the workshop investigates what dominants need, how submissives can provide it, and how to communicate needs. This workshop took place March 25th, 2006, and was taught by Mistress Taz and NelsonX. Everything I Need to Know I Learnt in the Dungeon The description for this work is upcoming. Please check back later for more information. This workshop took place May 26th, 2007 and was taught by Usha. Fisting Fisting, fist fucking, handballing… fun terms for the method of inserting the entire hand (and sometimes part of the arm!) into the anus or vagina of a sexual partner. In this workshop our instructor, Sir Kevin, will go over how to accomplish this form of play, as well as what both the top and bottom get out of this type of play. He will also go over the potential complications that can arise with fisting, and will discuss how to manage these risks. Fisting is considered low-risk for the spread of STD's, provided that particular precautions are followed, and we will focus mostly on anal fisting vs. vaginal fisting. "How To Get what You Need Without Asking." - a humorous dialogue between a top and a bottom about how we can finally get what we really need in our relationships. This class was taught by Master Andrew and Fyre. Impact Play - from spankings to face-slapping Impact play - On the light side, there's crops, paddles, and spankings…. On the heavier side, you'll find punching, slapping, and kicking. It's hands-on time, and our guide through Impact play will discuss safety issues regarding Impact play, as well as various tools and techniques to add some extra 'punch' to your scenes. This class is designed for intermediate to advanced players. This workshop was taught by Christine on December 10, 2005 The Master/slave Relationship - From Fantasy to Reality You've talked online and then at a fetish event. Now what??? Relationships in our lifestyle seem to fizzle out and die all too often. Jim and usha will share many of the mistakes and pitfalls they've witnessed (and experienced) in their years in the lifestyle and will discuss how they make 24/7 work for them. This workshop took place April 15th, 2006, and will be taught by Jim and usha. Capturing your Kink - Fetish Photography Where to get film processed, camera basics, and a discussion about digital vs. traditional photography. Setting good scenes and poses including props, lighting, and backdrops. What kind of scenes are good to incorporate photography into? A short discussion on the ethics and concerns about photography + kink, and a reminder to always get permission BEFORE a scene begins. Attendees are requested to bring their cameras, anything (or anyone) they'd like to shoot, and any accessories they'd like to add to a shoot. There will be a hands-on (clothed only) portion however we request that only digital cameras be used during the workshop. However feel free to ask for advice about your traditional cameras from our instructor. Likewise, feel free to bring books or magazines for inspiration. This workshop was taught by NippleTwister on October 28th. Polyamory Is love really infinite? In this workshop we'll explore a range of relationships that differ from monogamy. For some, an open relationship is the best solution, for others group marriage fills their needs and wants. We'll explore the challenges and benefits of various poly-relationships, as well as discuss where and when to meet people that might have the same ideals as you. This workshop will be mostly discussion-based, so we encourage everyone to come and share their highs, lows, experiences, and questions. This workshop took place July 28th, 2007 and was lead by Nelson and jilleena. Role Playing in Scenes The art of pretend is lost to us typically as we reach adulthood. As children we were fascinated by the potential of what we could become and as we grow older that sense of wonder at what we can be seems to lessen as we lock ourselves into roles that are defined by our own expectations and society's expectations of us. The rut that we all find ourselves in is a self imposed limitation. Role play in a scene attempts to recapture the child in all of us as we can once again explore the wonder of what we could possibly be. This workshop will attempt to open a door to the possibilities of incorporating a sense of wonder and potential in our play. All that is required is an imagination and an open mind. This workshop was taught by Sir Scott on January 28, 2006. Tied up with no where to go - Bondage without ropes There's no doubt that some of the pretty rope bondage done by artists like Midori is beautiful, but…. Heck.. it's time consuming! Sometimes you just want to tie your victim up quickly and move on to other things! Likewise, some people might like to wear their bondage on a regular basis, and wear it under their clothing. Learn a few techniques, and learn about a few toys that will help you accomplish bondage without ropes. This workshop was taught by Deborah, Dawn, and Cookie on July 23, 2005 Make it and Take it Toy Making Go through a series of mini-workshops with a pre-packaged goodie bag of ingredients. This means you will come away from the workshop not only with the skills to make toys to fill your toy bag, but also a sample to play with right away! (Maybe at the following P3 Party?!) Some of the toys will include vampire pads, finger floggers, and a few other sensation and torment toys. Goodie bag tickets will ONLY be available as pre-sales so we have enough for everyone.
