Workshop description Wrapped and entwined - Rope Intensive Hmmm … the sensual seduction of a cotton rope as it's delicately wound around a willing wrist or ankle… the rough embrace of a hemp rope as it circles the torso in a harness… the smooth caress of nylon rope winding in the hand as the top plots and plans the bottom's fate…. Rope is typically one of the least expensive, most easily accessible, and most "deniable" toys in our playbag… but are you using the right ropes to their best advantage? In this workshop we'll discuss what kinds (material, diameter, etc) of rope to use for what kind of play, the problems you can encounter with the wrong kind of rope, as well as handling, care, cleaning, and treatment of rope. We'll also discuss where to get the best deal on your favorite kinds of rope, storage to prevent rot, knots, and soiling, length preferences, end treatments, as well as hopefully have a few willing demonstrators show off their favorite ropes on their best display.
