Workshop description Ceremony & Ritual Our vanilla culture is riddled with ceremonies and rituals - weddings, funerals, interviews, birthdays, courtship and spiritual experiences to name a few. However many of us thrive on ritual and ceremony in our bdsm lives as well. In this workshop we'll separate ceremony from ritual and discuss both. With ritual we'll discuss how to develop personal rituals for yourself, you and your play partner, and even other relationships. We'll discuss why people need or want ritual, and the benefits that ritual can have in your playstyle and relationships. We'll also discuss the effects of the LOSS of ritual, and work with one another to discuss the long-reaching effects that ritual can have in our lives. In the discussion of ceremony, we'll discuss common bdsm ceremonies like the collaring ceremony and leather presentations, while also touching on adding bdsm elements to regular 'vanilla' ceremonies that are part of our everyday lives.
