Workshop description The pen is mightier than the whip - Journaling Journaling can be liberating to the BDSM devotee, and is a wonderful way to record your naughtiest thoughts, deliciously devious plans, erotically-charged wishes and most sensual of desires in a medium that only you can read for both top and bottom alike. But. it can also be a powerful tool between play partners to share thoughts in a slightly less intimidating way than face to face communication. For couples who find initial communications awkward journaling can offer an additional option, and for those new to the lifestyle it can offer unique insights. Journaling can also be shared with larger groups of people as a way of disseminating information, asking for assistance from a larger group, and getting a wide variety of feedback for a single confusing problem. In this workshop we'll discuss multiple forms of journaling - from the traditional diary with a lock on the cover to the modern blog - as well as the advantages and disadvantages of both. We'll discuss the types of things to write about, discretion when writing about others, and the 'assumed' privacy related with journaling. We will also use examples to show how individuals (both tops and bottoms) can use this type of writing as a tool for self-reflection, and how it can be used to inspire hotter play! This workshop will take place November 28, 2009 and will be taught by Jenn and Dawn. Tickets will be 15$ per person and full-day tickets for both workshops and play party are available for 35$ per person.
