Workshop description Lick of the Flame - Advanced Fireplay Fireplay is beautiful, erotic, mysterious, wondrous… how can something that causes such fear and awe in ordinary situations cause such delicious delight in a kinky context? When flame kisses flesh, there's a thin line between fear and fantasy - one of the most delightful things about edge play, and the reason why bottoms keep coming back to experienced, trustworthy tops for more! In this workshop we'll re-examine our attraction to fireplay, both in the body and in the spirit, and our instructor will lead us on a group discussion about what both tops and bottoms alike get out of playing with fire. From ritual use to eroticism, we all have different perspectives, and knowing what your partner gets out of the experience can enhance your interaction! We'll also witness a demonstration of multiple forms of fire play from tapping and pounding to fireballs and other more advanced techniques, while touching upon the safety aspects dealing with fire. We'll look at fire from a play perspective as well as from a performance perspective for the exhibitionists in the room. In the second half of this workshop we'll work on making our own wands, (kits will be available to purchase before the workshop - first come first serve) and then trying them out - those who are inexperienced with fire can try on themselves, while those who have some experience with fire may wish to team up and play in groups of 3 (a top, a bottom, and a spotter).
